Child Custody Evaluations

Evaluations employ multimethod, evidence-based assessment integrating personality, cognitive, behavioral, developmental, and collateral data sources to determine best interest factors. Child Custody & Parenting Time Evaluations: Full-scope evaluations addressing legal custody, residential arrangements, co-parenting capacity, and best-interest analysis via N.J.S.A. 9:2-4 or  23 Pa.C.S. § 5328 factors.

Brief Focused Issue Evaluations: Targeted evaluations addressing a discrete question (e.g., transition distress, disputed child preference, effect of schedule changes).

Parenting Capacity Evaluations: Assessment of parental psychological functioning and caregiving attributes as they relate to child well-being and safety.

Relocation Evaluations: Analysis of proposed out-of-state moves pertaining to developmental impact, attachment continuity, feasibility of maintaining relationships, and risk/benefit balance.

Psychological Records Review & Consultative Opinions: Expert review of existing case materials with written opinion to assist attorneys in case strategy, negotiation, and/or settlement posture.

Rebuttal / Second Opinion Evaluations: Critique of prior forensic evaluations for methodology, adherence to standards, and validity of conclusions.

Expert Testimony: Testimony, depositions, case consultation and attorney strategy meetings in family, civil, and juvenile matters.
